VizzEco has pledged to donate $1 to Earth University for every person that signs up for Google Apps Premier Edition. This fundraising event will benefit the ongoing research and development of green computing technology such as that used in VizzEco mobile and eco-friendly computing devices, which reduce electricity usage by up to 90%. EARTH University, which is located in the humid tropics of Costa Rica, is a private, non-profit, international university that first opened in 1990.

The university aims to contribute to the sustainable development of the Tropics, particularly in Latin America and the Caribbean. The program emphasizes the development of ethics and positive values, entrepreneurship, social and environmental awareness and solid technical and scientific knowledge. Earth University has approximately 400 students, 80% of whom are sponsored by scholarships funded by private donors, companies and institutions from around the world.
